How this site handles personal information.

Who is responsible

Marceau Brugman is responsible for personal information handled through this site.

What information is collected

The contact form asks for:

• your name;
• your email address;
• your company, if you choose to provide it;
• your message.

The form processor also receives technical request metadata, including your IP address, approximate location and spam or filtering information where applicable. A direct email may contain whatever information you choose to provide.

Why the information is used

Personal information is used to:

• respond to enquiries;
• manage relevant follow-up communication;
• protect the contact form from abuse.

Formspark

Formspark processes contact-form submissions on my behalf and delivers them to my business inbox. Formspark keeps submission content until I delete it. After deletion, a submission remains recoverable for 30 days.

Submitter IP addresses and approximate locations are retained for 12 months. Filtered or spam submissions may also be retained for 12 months.

Marceau’s retention

Ordinary enquiries are normally deleted from Formspark and my business mailbox after 90 days when the conversation is no longer active.

If an enquiry becomes part of an ongoing client or project relationship, relevant information may be retained as part of that business record where necessary for the operational, contractual or legal requirements of that relationship.

Sensitive information

Please do not send sensitive personal information through the form or by email. This includes health information, information about children, criminal-history information, payment-card details, biometric information or other special-category personal data. If you are unsure, begin with a general description of the problem.

Rights and questions

You may contact contact@marceau.design with questions about your personal information or to request access, correction or deletion where applicable.

This notice may be updated when how the site handles information changes.
